Ain't it funny? One second you're at school, thinking about your projects... And another, they say *you will not come back on monday* You don't know what will happen with those projects, or what you will do during all hat time.
Honestly, i felt relaxed. I use this time to write, and i think the experience may change me. But not everyone feels that way.
A few days ago, i read another Autistic Girl's Story. She was scared of what could happen, so *she emnded her own life before the stat of the Quarantine* Many of us are out of energy, or "spoons". We fear what everyone fears behind their fear of death: the unknown. But death was more "known" to this girl that the situations she feared living.
*Because Quarantine's not for veryone. Many poor children are wondering what they'll eat the next days, since most meal centers are closed. Many will have to be with their abusive parents, and many workers will lose the source of their income, which is really important for a society with our system.
That way, i can consider myself lucky. But every time, i see those people crying, in my dreams, and it breaks my heart. I'm writing this blog, relaxed, and without pain, and, meanwhile, they can't control their bladders because of the immense fear they have.
*Because this aren't vacations. It's, technically, a natural disaster. A disaster nobody was prepared for, and it will cost tons of lives. Maybe yours is at risk, and you don't even know it.
If you're non-binary, you´re at risk (you get pneumonia faster).
If you have asthma, you're at rsik
If you are an ex-smoker, you're at risk
If you've had recent surgery... you're at risk.
If you have lupus, EDS, among other illnesses, you're at risk.
If you haven't been vaccinated, you're at risk.
If you're a cancer survivor, you're at risk.*
I mean... You could think nothing will happen... But maybe it will. I don't want to scare you. But we have to prevent.
Not only because of our loved ones... for our lives.
*Let's stay at home as much as we can. Maybe... doing so, we can get through this. Meanwhile, hear a podcast, write a diary, research about topics you like, learn a new language, recipe, or magic trick, do some home improvement, paint your nails, write, as i do, download a pdf, read about other disabled/autistic people, do some yoga, learn origami, download that game you wanted to try, do a personality test to get to know yourself better, see what your favourite celebrities are doing on their social media, try to grow something on your garden, make a costume, watch something on Netflix, etc... So, there's lots to do, but stay at home if you can.*
